Dan Gilbert Interview - Question

I would ask Dan Gilbert what models he is using to assess free will in neuroscience. He mentions that, using physics, we can determine that freewill can be preserved because “[his] feeling is [inherently uncertain systems are] the place where if you are really attached to the notion of Freewill, that's where you stuff your freewill” (Timestamp 39:13 in the interview). This is all very unclear to me, and I would like him to please explain how he came to this conclusion because it is uncertain where his exact ideas are coming from and his explanations leave me wondering how these topics are actually connected.
