In the interview with David Laibson I found the rationality through repetition part to be very interesting. The idea that it is a phycological mechanism just as much as a realistic problem solving mechanism is illuminating. This plays into the idea that a prediction must be repeated again and again to make it truly accurate. This also connects to the machine learning of google maps. This is a way to bypass the necessity to repeat a prediction over and over again, instead all that is needed is data then a prediction can be made. As AI becomes more and more intelligent I wonder if the earlier steps of phenomena and observation can start to be understood and eventually there will be no more need for human actions and some apps can be completely directed through AI.
