If I were to have conducted the interview, the question that I would ask Dan Gilbert would be "How do human cognitive biases and moral perceptions shape societies perceptions of major events?" His article shed light on the human responses to threats such as natural phenomena. By reading the article, it seems apparent that these “threats” do not evoke strong moral emotions which led to my question about exploring the role of these biases in shaping societal responses.
