This video relates to my final project topic of climate change because Harvard University Professor Rebecca Henderson discusses the intersection between corporate and government action towards climate change as a result of societal or employee pressure. For example, it wasn't until parents spoke out because they were too ashamed to be working for a non-climate friendly timber company, that change finally occurred (38:09). While it may seem that there is little that can be done at the individual level, events like these can help mitigate the problem. Furthermore, I thought this quote, "if you took the worst case scenario of everything, you would just not go outside", was very interesting because it made me think about how climate change is reported and the different ways data is presented can change someone's perception, similar to the human behavior activity that was done in class (18:52).

This article provides further information to findings from a study that concluded more than 15,000 companies would have to contribute about 44% of their profits, if they accounted for climate change damages (https://apnews.com/article/climate-change-carbon-corporations-damage-pollution-9cb9e7c9feb2a68cb6dc0ae99c5e943a)
