For the video with Dan Gilbert, I found information about crows and corvids being such intelligent birds that they have an idea of what will happen with food in the future to be very interesting and insightful into how other species may have their own versions of prediction. The study is linked here on the University of Cambridge website. Once I drove a bit deeper, the study showed that "Male corvids even demonstrate an ability to understand what foods females prefer and will bring their mates tasty titbits" (University of Cambridge). I found this to be even more fascinating that, like impressing a mate, they also understand taste preferences. I encourage you to check out the video and the study!
